- Organization-wide implementation of a customized process based on the Rational Unified Process® and Prince2.

In 2000, Ohra decided there was a need for a standardized project approach that stimulated synergy and collaboration between business and IT stakeholders. The new approach was to be based on industry standards so that skills and resources would be easy to find. The Rational Unified Process® and Prince2 were selected as the basis upon which the Ohra approach was to be defined.

Empulsys participated in the introduction and refinement of the approach in which RUP and Prince2 were combined to fit the organization. In collaboration with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, customized RUP® training courses were developed for and delivered to the project managers, requirements engineers, software architects, designers and developers. The first projects applying the new approach were mentored by Empulsys, while internal mentoring and knowledge sharing was stimulated.

While Ohra has achieved a level of self-sufficiency, Empulsys remains on as an advisor to answer issues that arise from time to time.
